ICE!

Yesterday I took my nephew, Aidan, to see ICE! at Gaylord Palms with my mother-in-law. At 9 degrees inside, it was COLD. We saw a train set with a village, ice sculptures, he went down an ice slide, drank hot cocoa while listening to Christmas songs sang by 4 people on stage, and we saw Santa Claus. His reaction when he saw Santa just before we left was priceless. He turned and saw him and yelled, "Santa!"

Welcome to Heather and Mike's Blog!

We wanted to create this blog for all of our family and friends to view from all around the world. With everyone having such busy schedules, we thought this would be the best way to communicate what is going on in our lives. To begin with, we are new at this so it will take time to have cool pictures, cool backgrounds, and etc. Once we get to know more about it all we hope to have mastered it.

Anyway, we are living at Heather's parents' house until we find a house to buy of our own. The process is fun yet stressful.

I got my professional services contract this year; which means that I can't be layed off for any reason. Yahoo! My 24 students are VERY talkative this year. This is the most that I have had, so it's a bit challenging.
Mike is staying busy with the fire station and mowing grass. Luckily the slow season is around the corner. It will give him more time to work on other projects; like my car. :)
